The NC Women’s Open Green Playoffs took place on May 1st. The playoff match between RC Lake Bluff and Midtown-Bannockburn 2 could have gone either way. “Why?” you ask. Because 4 matches went to 3 sets and one of the 2 set matches went to a tie-breaker in the 2nd set. All the matches were close but RCLB won 4-2. Between Midtown-Palatine and Libertyville, there were a couple of close matches and a few less than close matches. MTP came out ahead 4-2.
